Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains
Answers for Challenging Cases
Bode Technology supports medical examiners, coroners, law enforcement agencies, death investigators, crime labs, government and disaster management organizations with advanced DNA testing for identification. Bode’s proprietary bone extraction method and other advanced techniques enables our scientists to successfully develop DNA profiles from the most challenging cases, including severely degraded remains.

Advanced DNA Technologies to Solve the Most Challenging Cases
Bode uses STR, Y-STR, mini-STR, and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) testing as well as Rapid DNA and forensic investigative genetic genealogy (FIGG) on bones, teeth, other human remains and family reference samples to identify missing persons and unidentified remains. Bode’s experts perform complex kinship analysis to support the identification process. Bode also supports DNA uploads into the CODIS missing person’s database. When time is of the essence, Bode offers rush identification services.
