Bode and its predecessor laboratories have supplied forensic casework analysis services, convicted offender and arrestee sample profiling, criminal paternity testing, mass disaster victim identification, and missing person identification under contract to many state and local governmental agencies and private organizations both in the US and abroad for many years.

Submit A Case
Before submitting a case for biological fluid identification or DNA testing, please contact our technical services team to discuss pricing, turnaround time, test plan, CODIS eligibility and other considerations specific to your case.
All cases must be accompanied by one of the relevant Case Submission Forms located on the Bode Technology Client Portal. Please click on the button below to access the portal.

Instructions
Evidence should be packaged and shipped by someone professionally trained in evidence handling and maintaining a proper Chain of Custody.

All cases must be accompanied by a Case Submission Form. Evidence should be shipped for overnight delivery using a traceable courier (FedEx, UPS, etc) with a tracking number and signature required. This will maintain Chain of Custody for the evidence. Bode is open Monday through Friday. It is recommended to not ship evidence on a Friday as it will not be received until the following Monday at the earliest. Do not ship to a specific person as this may compromise Chain of Custody. For hand deliveries, you must contact Bode’s Technical Services Team to set up an appointment for the delivery.
RESTRICTED ITEMS
Please be aware that Bode Technology does not accept firearms (including airguns), drugs or large sums of cash for case submission. Samples (acquired through the use of swabs) from these items may be submitted for testing. Drug packaging may be submitted as long as all drugs have been removed.
